KMART OFFERS PARENTS LAST MINUTE HOLIDAY TOY SUGGESTIONS
Elmo is hard to find, but these hot toys are available to
meet the needs of discerning kids
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - While many parents struggle to find that perfect toy this holiday season, including the wildly popular ELMO T.M.X, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, today, Kmart announced a list of hot toy suggestions for parents that are still available, and match a variety of kids' personality types.
For kids always on the go, to the girly girls and even the knowledge seekers, the list offers parents cool, affordable and appropriate choices for their children, including the Power Wheels Cadillac Escalade, Bratz Diamond Dolls and Mini Media Players.
"Kmart understands that parents are looking for gift alternatives, and that like each child, all toys are different, so its important that the right toy finds its way into the hands of the right child," said Jon Eutsler, vice president, Toys and Sporting Goods, Sears Holdings. "Many parents are seeking other ideas for toys that will make their children happy this holiday season, particularly since Elmo is proving hard to find."
To that end, Kmart is conducting an ELMO T.M.X lottery for customers at some of its locations nationwide. The last lottery will occur on Saturday, December 16, at select stores in the following cities: Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, Philadelphia, PA, Allentown, PA, New York Metro area and Long Island, NY and San Francisco, CA. Tickets will be distributed in a lottery format to customers interested in purchasing a 10th Anniversary ELMO T.M.X., and distribution will begin at 5pm and last until 9:55 pm. The drawings will take place once an hour between 6pm and 10pm. Customers can call 1-800-525-7952 for more information.
