Kmart is recognized by the state of Florida Governor’s office for their support of people with disabilities
Kmart was recognized by Charlie Crist, Governor of Florida with an Exceptional Employer Award for being one of the top companies in the state that hires associates with disabilities along with our company’s overall support of people with disabilities.

The selection process for the award includes: company history of commitment, the number of individuals hired and retained, and the overall attitude of the organization related to disability issues. “It was truly an honor to represent our brand as one of Florida’s elite companies who are ensuring ‘no disabled is ever disqualified’,” said Dave Rodney, Kmart Regional Coach
