Orchard Supply Hardware Opportunities
Material Handler - Production >>
Selects merchandise from proper location, places on pallet and delivers to assigned staging area.
Material Handler - Receiving >>
Unloads inbound merchandise from trailer, inspects for visual damage, verifies quantity and inputs, palletizes merchandise and delivers completed pallets to assigned zone and aisle.
Material Handler - Maintenance >>
Sorts, stacks, labels and repairs all OSH and vendor pallets, separates vendor and junk pallets and prepares for pick-up, replenishes stock of pallets to all departments.
Truck Driver >>
Delivers OSH trailers to assigned stores with automatic paperwork, conducts safety inspections on tractors and trailers, operates automatic truck wash system.

Department Supervisor
As a first-line supervisor, you are responsible for a team of hourly associates on a daily basis. You will observe their performance; oversee training in your department; communicate work assignments, monitor productivity, safety and quality; evaluate performance; issue discipline and interview/hire associates.
Department Manager
As a manager of a department, you will be responsible to train and develop your supervisors as well as oversee productivity, safety, and quality in the department.
Operations Manager
As an operations manager, you will be responsible for the operation of a department over multiple shifts as well as the development of the department managers.
Assistant General Manager
As an assistant general manager, you will be responsible for the entire operational performance as well as the development of the operations managers.
General Manager
As a general manager, you will be responsible for a multi-million dollar budget and the performance of a business unit as well as the development of the assistant general manager. All operational and support departments will be your responsibility.

Router & Batcher
The router & batcher performs daily routing decisions in accordance with corporate and distribution center guidelines. Additionally, this job requires the administration of all transportation related tasks occurring during the second shift and third shift.
Department Supervisor
As a department supervisor, you will perform daily routing decisions in accordance with corporate and distribution center guidelines. Additionally, you will administer all transportation related tasks to include load planning/monitoring, warehouse optimization and door assignments, seal control/bill bags and yard management systems. You will also be responsible for a team of hourly associates on a daily basis. You will observe their performance; oversee training in your department; communicate work assignments, monitor productivity, safety and quality; evaluate performance; issue discipline and interview/hire associates.
Transportation Manager
The transportation manager will monitor all aspects of the distribution center that affects quality of service and transportation expense. The manager is the primary liaison for all issues involving carrier activities at the distribution center and with relation to stores and vendors. The transportation manager will also communicate directly with corporate contacts on all transportation related issues requiring deviation or alteration from any policies or guidelines established by SHC.

Loss Prevention Supervisor
As a loss prevention supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising loss prevention and safety programs for a distribution center. You would assist in enforcing policies and procedures related to accident prevention, safety, health, environment, security, food safety and fire prevention and protection.
Loss Prevention Manager
As a loss prevention manager you will manage the protection of company assets, health, safety, security and fire prevention programs. The manager monitors and adheres to the policies and procedures related to accident prevention, safety, health, environment, security and fire prevention/protection.

As a maintenance supervisor, you will supervise and oversee the maintenance of equipment and facility ensuring that equipment, grounds and buildings are clean and in working order. The supervisor oversees repairs and operation of material handling systems.

As a maintenance manager, you will manage and oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities. You will ensure that equipment, grounds and buildings are cleaned. The manager oversees repairs and recommends purchases of equipment and new construction.

You will oversee, supervise and support data processing operations, revisions and changes to systems, hardware, software and reports, while supporting rollouts for any systems modifications or installs.

General Warehouse Worker
As a general warehouse worker, you will be responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the warehouse facility. Your duties will occur within the assigned area of warehouse operations, but the position supports all areas of the warehouse as needed. Additionally, you are considered to be highly skilled in problem solving and conveying innovative ideas to senior levels of management.

Clerical Associate
As a clerical associate, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative functions of the distribution center departments. Your duties may include but are not limited to compiling and distributing reports, entering data into various computerized systems and maintaining the office area by replenishing supplies.
Payroll Clerk
The payroll clerk supports the administrative functions of the distribution center payroll department. This position ensures accuracy of payroll being produced. You will be responsible to assemble, compile and distribute reports, documents and information relevant to payroll processing and time and attendance record keeping. The payroll clerk receives, sorts, routes and files correspondence. This position discovers and documents facts by conducting basic investigations/audits into payroll systems. You will provide input to your supervisor for solutions to payroll related issues. The payroll clerk maintains payroll records with strict adherence to federal and state wage and hour regulations.
