PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Sears Holdings Corporation is focused on hiring the best and brightest talent, and rapidly developing this talent into our future business and technology leaders through accelerated career paths and challenging, yet rewarding opportunities. As part of this effort, Sears Holdings has created a
Technology Leadership Program (TLP). This program is designed to recruit highly talented, innovative and motivated Masters Degree candidates from top universities and technical programs. We have developed a TLP Internship to serve as a pipeline to this full-time program. Members of this program will bring strategic leadership, acute awareness of emerging technology and incredible energy and enthusiasm to lead the strategic efforts of the company. Interns will manage high-priority and high-potential initiatives from inception to execution across our Information Technology Businesses.

This program provides unique career opportunities and exposure to the operational and strategic challenges facing Sears Holdings and the Information Technology Businesses. TLDP Interns are champions of innovation initiatives, entrepreneurial thinkers and catalysts of change. The goal of the program is to infuse Sears Holdings and the Information Technology Businesses with innovative talent and to develop those talented individuals into future technology and business leaders. The ultimate goal is for these individuals to earn a full-time technical position where they will apply transformational, leading-edge systems thinking to everything that we do while continuously challenging status-quo.
OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY >>
Our Internship Program is 10 weeks in duration. As an intern, you will be assigned a project that has direct business impact. The internship opportunity will also allow you to receive the following:
- Direct mentorship from a Senior Executive

- Cross-Functional Team Building Skills: ability to build and align cross-functional teams to meet common goals and achieve success
- Entrepreneurial: energetic and innovative; can lead new initiatives from idea generation to execution, develop business models and drive action plans to implementation
- Analytical: must enjoy gathering and digging deeply into data to identify issues and solve problems
- Strong Business Acumen: strong financial, strategic, operational and leadership skills; ability to understand business models and key drivers quickly
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: willingness to learn from and coach others; ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally; maturity to succeed through teamwork
- Project Management, Organizational and Time Management Skills: ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively under tight deadlines and deliver projects on time
