OVERVIEW
We are focused on hiring the best and brightest talent, and developing this talent rapidly through accelerated career paths. As part of this effort, we launched the Senior Leadership Program (SLP) in 2006. This program is designed to recruit highly talented MBAs from top universities and develop them into our future leaders. SLP Members must be willing to be an active participant in the day to day operations including the ability to roll up his or her sleeves. Members must also be willing to take on a number of different roles within their job and act as a catalyst for change. The SLP members should be solutions oriented, detailed, and analytical. We expect the members of the SLP program to help lead the strategic efforts of our company.
POSITION SUMMARY
- Our vision is to attract highly talented people to Sears Holdings and develop them into our future leaders
- Position will provide unique career development opportunities and exposure to the day-to-day issues and decision-making processes of senior management
- Successful candidates will be presented with the rare ability to shape the future of a Fortune 50 company and will be empowered to create value across Sears Holdings
- Senior Leadership Program members will be developed into future leaders through:
(a) deliberate movement through a variety of positions
(b) exposure to developmental experiences in exceptional situations (turnaround, startup, large scale change)
(c) increasing amounts of responsibility at an accelerated pace

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES >>
- Develop annual strategic plan, prioritize initiatives and partner with senior executives to ensure the business is executing on these initiatives
- Manage several high-impact, EBITDA-generating initiatives for an SHC Business Unit from idea generation to execution
- Utilize analytics to drive ideas, results and change in the Organization
- Create processes to identify, prevent and effectively solve problems
