PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This position is a 10-week internship within the Sears Holdings Corporation Talent & Human Capital Services (HR) Business Unit. Associates will have the opportunity to work on one or several projects in Talent Acquisition, Labor Relations & Compliance, Talent Management, Talent Development & Learning, Operations, Human Capital Analytics, Compensation, Benefits or Diversity. Upon successful completion of the internship, a candidate may receive a full-time offer to participate in a structured, 30-month rotational program within Talent & Human Capital Services. This position exists to support our business units, our associates, and the Holdings Company in the fulfillment of the company's strategic objectives. As a Human Resources T&HCS Associate, you will serve as a strategic business partner and will provide leadership and direction to HR generalists and specialists.

QUALIFICATIONS >>
- Education: Currently pursuing a Masters of Labor Relations, Masters of Human Resources Management, Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources or any other Human Resources graduate or doctorate degree.
- Experience: Two or more years in a professional/business environment. Experience in Human Resources is preferred.
- Leadership: Be a courageous leader. Have the ability to influence team and individual commitment. Can deliver difficult messages and challenge others.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Establishes relationship of trust with senior business leaders. Can resolve conflict and differences through application of interpersonal skills.
- Resiliency: Capable of handling multiple, complex and paradoxical situations. Consistently demonstrates sound judgment in dealing with ambiguous business challenges.
- Strategic Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Accurate and effective at diagnosing organizational performance issues. Effectively advises senior management on process for making changes to organization structure. Can see both the big picture and the details.
- Strong Business Acumen & Analytics: Strong financial, strategic, operational and leadership skills; ability to understand business models and key drivers quickly. Can determine ROI to evaluate HR initiatives against other uses of capital in the business.
- Project Management: Can plan for and manage scope, quality and risk throughout the execution of a mission-critical project.
- Talent Management: Knows how to manage people, and can select and develop good talent.
- Change Management: Always puts the customer first and has a customer-centric mindset when developing ideas and executing projects.
