POSITION SUMMARY
A career with Internal Audit is focused on learning how business processes work and how technology supports it. Our associates work to improve business results by independently reviewing operations and systems and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of our internal controls. As an Intern on the IT audit team, you will be executing audits of business and IT processes / applications under the supervision of the IT Auditor and the Senior IT Internal Auditor.

QUALIFICATIONS >>
- Junior Status required (in last summer before graduation)
- Major in Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Strong academic performance. Minimum GPA – 3.2
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Involvement in extracurricular activities
- Dedication to customer service
- Limited travel
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in oral and written fashion.
- Strong problem solving skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, creative thinker
- Permanent Employment Authorization/U.S. Citizen
RESPONSIBILITIES >>
- Maintains knowledge of general technology and gains an understanding of the Company’s technical environment and related control risks.
- Participates in the development of audit objectives, scope and audit and will execute during the planning, fieldwork and reporting phases of engagements, under supervision of Senior – IT Internal Auditor.
- Works with audit teams of 2-5 people.
- Communicates progress of audit objectives and testing with the Senior – IT Internal Auditor on a timely basis.
- Prepares written communications such as audit reports, client correspondence, memos, and other working papers that document the procedures performed, findings, and conclusions.
- Interacts with client personnel and demonstrates a commitment to continually improve the organization.
PAST PROJECT WORK COMPLETED >>
- Audit work in Information Security Policy (ISP), General Computing Controls (GCC), and IT Practices of specific business units
